Guild Forum

I have created a guild forum on the official Tibia website for us to discuss the guild's constitution, our rules and our way of life. Three threads are there already for Relic Roses to discuss about the following subjects:

  • Events: what kind of event should we hold? Parties, contests, hunts and quests... What would you like to do with your sisters?
  • Hometown and guildhall: would you move to a town designated as Relic Roses' hometown, for the sake of being geographically closer to your fellow Roses? Would you be interested in and would you use a guildhall, and if so, which one(s) would you like?
  • Honorary members: some guys are bound to be interested in our movement someday and ask to be invited. Relic Roses is supposed to be an all-girls club, but we could tack on an extra rank to give to male characters who would ask to be recruited. Do you think it should happen?
I'll have a link to this forum on the right-side menu soon, but of course you have to be logged in to see it. Check it out and leave your thoughts! You can create new threads if there are things you'd like the alliance to discuss!

Rules of the Relic Roses

The following is a set of rules and guidelines that define who can join the Relic Roses, how a member should behave and how the guild works overall. Keywords are highlighted for even more clarity. And yes, I start counting at zero, perhaps you can guess what field I'm in =P

Joining

The Relic Roses are female characters (actual gender isn't important) of any level or vocation who are fluent in English and who play Tibia to have fun, at their own pace. While we encourage and admire quick leveling, riches and power, it shouldn't keep you from going out of your way from time to time to give someone a hand or hang out with friends or fellow Relic Roses. Activity is not an issue as long as you still play from time to time, even logging in and saying hello every few days is enough.

Rules

0) A Relic Rose does not kill, steal from, scam, insult, threaten or otherwise harm others. She may, however, kill someone if it is justified, for instance if her target is a player killer, but she should stay away from conflict unless directly involved or certain about what the situation is. Should a Relic Rose be suspected of commiting crimes, she may be expelled from the Relic Roses.

1) Please understand that you will no longer be a Relic Rose if you were to change your character's gender. We have nothing at all against male characters and we regard them as equals, this is mostly a matter of style and a part of the definition of this guild.

(More rules to be added as required)

Guidelines

0) The guild channel is a good way for all guild members to talk to each other, and the more members we recruit, the more lively and fun it's going to be, so try to keep your guild channel window open as much as possible.

1) A true Relic Rose values the clarity and elegance of full sentences made with full words and full punctuation. While this isn't a requirement, any Relic Rose should make their best effort to write correctly.

2) While not required at all times (or even at all), roleplaying is a good and encouraged way to have fun between members in private, in the guild channel or in person! For clarity, you should signal when you're going IC (in character), for example with a marker at the beginning of IC lines like (IC) or IC>. Assume OOC unless specified otherwise.

(More guidelines to be added as required)

Relic Roses is now official!

On this day of May 18th, 2009, the Ameran guild Relic Roses was sworn one of the 96 active guilds in the server. We still lack a fourth full-time vice-leader, but it's only a matter of time before one is found.

I will soon add a section regarding this guild's rules of conduct. Some of them will be obvious and absolute essentials, some of them will be merely guidelines, but together they will be the portrait of what I want this guild to be. Don't worry, most of these rules will be either very easy to follow or not mandatory, this guild isn't some sort of military organization!

I'm also still tuning our overall image, be it the appearance of this blog (I hope I can tune down that hot pink background) or our entry in the guild list. I have a prototypical logo that's pretty much ready to be displayed, so it should find its way into this blog and our guild description soon.

We will be recruiting English-speaking female characters of any level or vocation, as long as they can converse and behave properly. For now, if you know or meet anyone who fits those criteria, tell me about them in a PM in-game, with a letter or in a comment, and I will talk to them personally.

There are several things I want us Relic Roses to do together, they include roleplaying to a certain extent, organizing public events, perhaps have private meetings, and get together for hunts given any occasion. This guild is about having fun and letting others have fun more than it is about power, money, leveling or influence.
